Female Football Week – Girls Movie Night!

To celebrate Female Football Week, Peninsula Strikers Junior Football Club is excited to host a Girls Movie Night for our female players aged 7–13.

Join us for a fun, relaxed evening featuring the much‑loved football film Bend It Like Beckham (PG‑13), all about friendship, teamwork and believing in yourself - on and off the pitch.

The night is designed to be a cosy, welcoming space for our girls to connect and celebrate being part of the Strikers community. Think pyjamas, oodies, beanbags, popcorn and mates, with light food provided by the club.

 Friday 15 May
⏰ 5:30pm – 8:00pm
Movie: Bend It Like Beckham (PG‑13)
Come in your pyjamas and bring an oodie, sleeping bag or blanket

Parents are welcome to drop off, sign in, and collect at 8:00pm. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We’d love to see as many of our girls there as possible as we celebrate female participation, friendship and fun at Peninsula Strikers ⚽

Peninsula Strikers Junior Football Club would like to thank Saxon Sports Frankston for their 2026 sponsorship.
Saxon Sports Frankston
Saxon has long been the peninsula's premier indoor sports centre for soccer and cricket. Having been recently taken over by a group of parents that are active in kids' community sport, we are increasingly a venue for the whole family. We have rapidly growing competitions for women and kids, school holiday programs and lots of new initiatives to keep the little siblings entertained.

PSJFC member families receive 10% off all soccer court, bowling machine and party bookings.
