Registration Process

How do I register for the 2026 season?

When do registrations close?

Early Bird closes: 15 February 2026

Final deadline: 15 April 2026

Early Bird = $40 discount + payment plan access + guaranteed place.

What do I need to complete a registration?

Have the following ready:

Parent/guardian details
Player details (name, DOB, medical notes)
Emergency contact
A payment deposit

I’m not sure which age group my child belongs in.

Choose your best guess.

We’ll correct age groups when teams are finalised.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes - available only to MiniRoos & Juniors Early Bird registrations for a small fee per installment.

Vouchers & Refunds

Can I apply a Get Active Victoria voucher?

Yes. Round 9 vouchers expire 31 December 2025

Round 10 opens February 2026. If you register now, eligible Round 10 vouchers can be refunded after the program opens.

How do I apply my voucher?

Upload voucher details during the registration process on our portal.

My child has changed their mind. Can we withdraw?

Yes - but refund amounts vary depending on timing.

Uniform & Kit

Do I need to buy a new kit for 2026?

Yes. All players require the updated 2026 kit.

Bundle and individual pricing options will be available soon. We will maintain some parts (shorts) of the uniform year on year, to provide more options for families.

Returning Players

I played last season—do I still need to register?

Yes. All players must register again for 2026.

Your details from last year will auto-fill in the new system to make this faster.

PlayFootball Registration & Insurance

Do I need to register on PlayFootball as well?

Yes - but it isn’t open yet. Register with PSJFC now, and we’ll notify you when PlayFootball opens.

Why do I have to register twice?

Two registrations are required because:

PSJFC registration = team allocation + communications

PlayFootball registration = Football Victoria requirements + insurance

Players cannot train or play without FV/FA insurance.

Family Setup & Communication

Why do I need an emergency contact?

For child safety. Football is a physical outdoor sport, and we need a second authorised adult we can reach quickly in case of injury or illness.

Blended families or multiple contacts? No worries!

Our system supports shared care arrangements.

Recommended setup:

One parent/guardian = registration owner
Other parent/guardian = emergency contact with View & Communications enabled
Add extra contacts (step-parents, grandparents, carers) as needed

Everyone who needs information will receive it.

Volunteering

Do I have to volunteer?

We strongly encourage it as many hands make light work, as the saying goes. If you don't help, another family will need to pick up extra. The club cannot run without volunteers, and we offer many options to suit different interests and time availability.

Is there a volunteer discount?

Yes, for major contributors.

Head Coaches receive a small token discount once coaching roles and teams are confirmed. Whilst we appreciate that everyone supports the club, our coach's take on a significant contribution to support our kids for training and gamedays.
